Step into the role of a prehistoric tribe leader, guiding your people through the art of survival and storytelling. In Prehistories, your tribe must hunt, gather, and paint their history on the walls of their cave to fulfill the challenges set by the Elders.

Each round, players secretly bid to send hunters into the wild. A larger hunting party can take down bigger prey, but it also slows you down. The fastest player—the one using the fewest hunters—goes first, but with limited resources. Hunting involves assigning your hunters to different locations, aiming to capture prey represented by polyomino tiles. Larger tiles require more hunters, and if your party is only just strong enough, some may return wounded, making future hunts riskier.

Once the hunt is over, it's time to paint your cave. Players place their collected animal tiles on a 7x7 grid, starting from the leftmost column and expanding outward. The Elders have set specific goals, like completing rows, connecting corners, or surrounding legendary animals, and meeting these challenges earns totem tokens.

The first player to place all eight of their totem tokens wins the game, securing their place in history! With strategic hunting, tactical tile placement, and exciting competition, Prehistories is a fast-paced, family-friendly adventure where only the most skilled leader will leave their mark on the ages!
